A former member of the deadly Strike Force set up by the late head of state, General Sani Abacha, Sgt. Barnabas Jabila alias “Sgt Rogers”, yesterday told a Lagos High Court that he was working for the state when he shot and killed Alhaja Kudirat Abiola, wife of late acclaimed winner of the June 12, 1993 presidential election, Chief M.K.O. Abiola.
